Sports Psychologist. Somebody got Alley's head on right this week. The Advocate gave some nice words this morning about how he is down to 237 lbs. That is a huge indicator that he is working his butt off. ABs weight hasn't been updated in the press in several weeks. Glad to see him run over a few guys. Of course, the chant from the student section also had to be a great motivator, too. And someone mentioned KW, too. He also ran with that reckless abandon that made AB so great. It was really nice to see KW run over a few guys and break some tackles.
The best part is that he earned and deserved it. I've tried to reserve comment on AB in the weeks leading up to this game (with the exception of the episode this past week). I was dissapointed he wasn't his best and a comeback from an injury is no easy road but I know he hadn't put his best effort forward too. I tried to bite my tongue because he did give us a lot to cheer for before the surgery and most of us never know "The rest of the story". Many of these kids have a lot of challenges to deal with that most of us have never had to experience.
