i'll agree with that. but i'm also on board with DON'T MESS WITH THE UNIS! they ain't broke so they don't need fixin'!
Those are sweet. I LOVE the white helmet. maybe b/c you don't see them, but the all white looks pretty good. I like these better than the purp unis.
They're kinda cool, but something has to be done with that stripe. either lose the pants stripe or make it continue onto the jersey. (only when having the same color top and bottom). it looks a little funny.
Our colors are purple and gold. Don't be afraid to use them. I don't think that looks "sick" or "fresh" I think it makes us look like Texas or a cue ball. No thanks.ldskule:
No just no. Those are horrible, and the fact that theyre topped off by that friggin' white helmet just makes it worse. OUR UNIFORMS LOOK GREAT AS THEY ARE AND PEOPLE OTHER THAN LSU FANS LIKE AND RESPECT THEM, SO WHY MESS WIH THAT?!?! Sorry I had to get that off my chest.
Tulane will be wearing all white except for their helmets for this weekends game. I'll take what we're wearing over that.
Ok...first off, I love our uni's. I think they exemplify tradition and class. Now, my dad's classic mercedes convertible oozes tradition and class too...but it does not mean he would not want to take a spin in a brand new SL class just as a change of pace now and again. Bring on the white helmets and gold jerseys or purple pants...OCCASIONALLY...it's a nice change of pace to me. Maybe we should ask the players what they think!
That's true, we'll never really know how it looks unless we see them play in them. I like mixing it up every once in a while like you said.
