Even so, if you could have defended them you would have. Perhaps you didn't even know where they came from?
If they are indeed facts, then they will be included in other
credible media sources. Why not take the time to find them?
Is that where you arrive at your definition of "moderate"? Take the extreme left, throw in the extreme right, and that somehow equates to moderate? No doubt Bush used connections to make money, that's what businessmen do. Did he do anything illegal? He hasn't been convicted, or even accused, so as of now the answer is no.
Of course we would expect a website that states "
The standpoint of this web site is one of revolutionary opposition to the capitalist market system" to put a negative spin on most all profitable business dealings. The article rambles on about the stadium deal for the Texas Rangers and how evil it was. Maybe so, I don't really know that much about it, except, when I went to a game there a couple of years ago, the area of town it is in was pretty much a crap-hole, so I can see where they might have gotten a pretty good deal on the land. I guess we'd have to look at the recent stadium deals of all these pro teams to see if the one the Rangers cut is all that different or unethical. My guess, if you ask a socialist, he would put a similar spin on all of them.
