Correct. This happened 2-3 weeks ago and the last couple of weeks were spent by less trying to change his mind.
damn, I hate to hear this for this kid's sake. hopefully he is getting the help he needs. wasn't he projected to be drafted in the top 2-3 rounds? i wonder where this will leave his professional prospects.
My dad's senior year in college, his roommate and best friend up and quit playing football--never went back and never really offered why he did it. He went on to do fine in life, but when he was done with football, he was done. And the NFL was looking seriously at him at the time.
