My reply was to your post that claimed there is no way AH could have played at LSU w/o a perceived disorder being diagnosed before now. First, you don't know what he had/has and neither do I. Second, if he does have some issue, how do you know it was not discovered before this year. As for the rest of your post to me, in the flying world we have a saying, you are "garbled and unreadable"...........next.
I'm as big a critic as any, but this is one that everyone should just let go until the facts are out. If this young man is indeed having the problems many have speculated we should give him the space and time he needs to get his situation under control. If you want to debate what we do at LT now, that's fine. But the speculation about his personal situation should be dropped until the picture becomes more clear. I'm one that usually says everything is up for discussion, so this may seem a bit out of character for me, but I think it is appropriate for this particular situation. If we find later that there is more to it than a possible medical disorder then I'm ready to debate at length. For now good luck Alex H, I'm wishing you the best and hope for a healthy return.
Well said TT. SOmetimes people get too wrapped up and forget that the players and even the coaches are people and have private parts of their lives. We should honor that.
Hurst has left the university. He is not eligible to play football for LSU unless he is a full-time student.
