1. Even know I live on the west coast I want to see AF win a super bowl.
  2. Yeah... I know what you mean. I'm torn for this Super Bowl. On one hand, Alan Faneca is the only former Tiger playing in the game--so that's a HUGE plus....on the other hand, as a die-hard Patriots fan, it's hard to pull for the Steelers (even though they haven't beat the Pats in a playoff game in ages).

Plus, I kinda like the idea of having Seattle--a team with a history much like the Saints (prior to this year of course) in which they only had ONE playoff victory (back in the EARLY to mid '80's) before making it to the Super Bowl.

Seattle hasn't had a lot to cheer about the last decade....

I think I'll have to go with the underdog in this one (Seattle), though I think Pittsburgh is too tough on defense and will eventually win it. Basically, either way, I can be happy. If the Steelers win, good for Faneca....If Seattle wins, it's good for an entire city.
  3. If D-Jack could catch one ball in bounds, then maybe Seattle will score.
  4. Boy, He sure got a lot of praise after that Willie Parker td.
I don't know the last time I remember an ex LSU football player
being praised in the Superbowl much less an NFL game.

If Willie Parker has a few more runs like that they just may have to give
Alan Faneca the MVP trophy, yea right.
When is the last time that has ever happened to a lineman! LOL
This games tempo is starting to speed up now, this game may be similar
to the NE vs Carolina game a few years back!
  5. He gets mentioned again on a Bettis run! What's going on? I know Fanaca is great, but he must have paid off Madden and Michaels! Good for him. LSU! should be proud.
  6. Pretty safe to say that we all are...
  7. He was mentioned by madden as probably the best guard in the league .....hell of an accomplishment
  8. well he is the best and good job steelers....you boys deserved it!
  9. he is the best guard in the league and top 3 lineman in the league. He had a great game today and glad he got a ring.
  10. Steve Hutchinson is the best guard in the NFL, hands down. Faneca would be the best in the AFC maybe, but he's not better than Hutchinson.

Not even my purple and gold glasses can hide that...
