SO I just got a call from my father-in-law who is driving through Talladega, Alabama for work and of course he has his LSU flags flying on the truck. He pulls up beside some truck with Alabama flags and take his hat off to give them a little "tip" of the LSU logo. Next thing he knows he's getting the bird and an egg thrown at his truck! He called me just a laughing..
My trip over will interesting then... my truck has LSU all over it. I experienced the same thing a few weeks ago in Dallas when i was driving through there. Except I just got the finger and a lot of verbal LSU Sucks, and F-U's.
I just got back from guntersville(100 miles n.e. of birmingham)and yeah they are pretty bad.No eggs,just a bunch of birds.Of course my flags were raised high all the way through bama also.
Here in Mobile, you cant go from one stoplight to the next without seeing LSU paraphernalia. I have it on my cars, and have never been harassed by rival fans. I suppose it could happen other places, but I dont see it here.
Hopefully the Bama fan's flags were on the windows that he must have rolled down to throw the egg and they fell off. Then I hope the flag was crushed by every car on the interstate.
