I'm willing to bet you already know the answer as do I.

    The law is the law.

The law came about because women were dying from illegal back alley abortions. Banning abortions never stopped abortion and banning it again won't stop it either. It will just force it out of proper medical clinics with physicians and back into the illegal practitioners, most of whom have no medical training at all.

This why I don't respond to your posts. You won't conduct an honest discussion.

A non-answer. Again, how is a human individual, which a embryo clearly is at conception, not a person? Are you afraid that an honest answer will be too extreme.

tirk and martin are the only dudes who honestly represent the pro-choice position.

    Ahem, . . .

The Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004 (Public Law 108-212)

Right, 2004, Congress protected unborn children who had already been declared people by their mothers. 31 years after Roe v Wade. See, the way its supposed to work is that Congress writes the law, then the court decides if its valid. The court isn't supposed to write the law, but that's what it did in RvW.

edit: but I see your point...you were quoting 2004, not Roe v Wade.

Why do we need abortion clinics when the abortion pill can be obtained without a script at a pharmacy anywhere in the country?
