I was watching the game online...and I have *really* wonky wireless...one sec, I saw JL come in, the next I saw Miss with the ball, and I had no idea how they'd gotten it. I have to say, I'm glad it wasn't on a pick 6. It WAS kind of funny wondering if it was...and sad, too.

A solid win, LSU is not going to win another NC or SEC championship with Jefferson and Crowton at the helm. LSU was 76th in Offense I would expect a major move backwards. Defense or no defense you need an O that can pick up first downs.

Solid win against a below average SEC team. Jefferson and Crowton are good enough to get you 8-10 wins, not good enough to get you a championship.

If LSU doesn't hold the other team below 17 points or less it will be tough for them to win.

Average field position was the 46...

LSU averages 28 points a game, up from last year.

Its called doing more with less.

LSU scored on all drives but 2. Look up the last time that happened in a SEC game.

5 forced turn overs on D.

    3-0 Baby

    Sorry your sad!

Yeah, against a JV team, they moved the ball 100 yards less then there 76th rank average of 352 yards a game. I am not sad, I am tell you the facts. You'll be crying just like you were last year.

Wake me up when you get wins over Alabama, Florida, West Virgina, Arkansas... until then it's appears to be sneaking past the JV teams.

You can only get 250 against Miss State, good luck with Alabama. Good enough to get you 8-10 wins, not good enough to get you a championship.. if that is fine, then I fine with that.

I would say 2nd-4th in the west is my guess.

The game was no major mistakes and really no ability to move the ball more than 30 yards.
