A new defensive low

I don't know why I am shocked by this but I am....

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., was running the scout team offense against the Tigers’ first-team defense, and apparently was doing so with great success.

"He just came in here and tore us up a little bit,” said junior defensive tackle Anthony Johnson. "He gave us a great look.”

How great of a look? According to Miles, not only did Beckham accurately simulate Manziel’s elusiveness, but he also went 6-for-8 throwing the ball against LSU’s defenders.

"He threw like three (touchdowns),” Johnson said. "We were chasing him around and the defensive backs kept pressuring up trying to get to him but the receivers kept getting depth. That’s one of the things we’ve got to work on this week.”

LSU defense can't even defend a receiver playing QB for a gag.

 

Wish we had 4 OBJs to put in the defensive backfield.

 

Further proof of just how sad this D truly is. You cant just blame the talent or lack there of for that. Clearly the coaching isnt up to par either.

I imagine bad ankle Mettenberger played practice squad Mike Evans and the secondary couldn't cover him.

 

Funny, but probably closer to truth that sarcasm. This is gonna suck, not sure I can even watch it.

 

It'd be pretty cool to see ODB jr play some snaps against A&M. Throw a little wrinkle in at them.

 

Well, if the scout team is doing that against the first team defense, WTF do you think Manziel is going to do?

 

We are so fucked. Jordan Jefferson would look like RG3 at Baylor against this D.

 

Cam did the same thing with Randle El, great WR in the Pros.
OBJ could have played a number of positions at LSU, on both sides of the ball. A real talent.
