1. - We never settled into the game today. I never felt a game flow from our team. Too many things beyond our control at work.

    - We let some bad breaks rattle us and our players started losing their concentration on good fundamentals and started trying to win the game on one play.

    - Some bad breaks from the officials early in the game really helped Florida regain some momentum.

    - Sloppy special teams have become the norm for this team. It is one of the big dissapointments of the season for me.

    - Our Coaches must take some responsibility for playcalling and offensive gameplan and adjustments in these big games. They are simply putting too much pressure on our defense in these big road games.

    - I guess one thing today is i never thought our defense gave up but i got the feeling from our offense that they did. Even though we move the ball down at the end it was just a feeling of going through the motions.

    - Our running offense is so predictable and has no rythem to it. It is clear we need to change our thinking and use our passing talent. We are simply not a running team. Deal with it and move on instead of continuing to force it.

    - I love Hester but if he is our best tailback then we are really in trouble. He simply doesnt have the breakaway speed to make the difference a good back can make.

This is a good LSU team and we will go 8-4 or 9-3 . I dont think JR is consistent enough to lead this team to win the rest without having at least 1 or 2 more losses.

I think Matt Flynn should be given a chance in games where it looks like JR is struggling. I hate to say this because JR is a good QB but i would like to see if flynn is given the start to see how he produces. JR has had his chance and to be honest has not shown the leadership in the big games on the road.

I think Coach Miles is going to have to make some decisions about this offense and how he wants to proceed for the rest of the year. I feel like we are trying to please too many people and not putting our best chance to win on the field. Get the players no matter what their year in school is on the field. That is how it should be. Our offensive attack has as much to do with our losses as any part of our game. Jimbo Fisher seems snakebit in these big games.

Well we have to get over this because it is important that we take care of business at home and we can still have a great year. I prdicted 10-2 this year but i thought our losses would come in games where we still competed at a high level.

I feel we have lost two games that were to inferior teams we just didnt take care and play tough.
  2. I wouldn't completely bench JR. I'd like to see what we could do with both JaMarcus and Matt sharing snaps like we saw with Florida today. It can be an effective strategy...especially since we seem to have trouble running the ball.
  3. the only sensible thing u said....
  4. I dont know how Florida is such an inferior team. The team consists of the players on the field and coaches. If you combine those two elements, UF is superior to LSU hands down. Plus, UF has beaten better teams this year and have played tougher teams. They have great coaching.
  5. Calco,

I agree with putting Flynn or Perriloux in the game. Not just for a series, but 3 or 4 series, when the game is on the line, with the first team. Sometimes you need a different style, it can shake up the other teams defense (like Tebow and Leak, ya know... that seems to work ok (an understatement)). JR has a great arm, but you don't have to worry about him running. Announcers said that was in Meyer's gameplan. With Flynn, you do have to worry about it.

And why stick with Broussard and Vincent when they don't produce? Who has the best avg. yds. per carry?
