1. I agree with Tirk, running a pass play on 3rd and long to try and get a first wouldn't bother me, but they were running their regular offense there real late n the game leading by almost 50 points. A little much I think.

Let's just hope USC blew their wad like OU seemed to after they put 70 on aTm. I wonder if that national news personality came out and condemned USC last weekend like he did after the OU/aTm game 2 years ago. I'm trying to remember who it was, anyone else remember?
  2. Excellent observation. That whuppin of A&M was the beginning of the "there's OU, then there's everybody else" attitude in the media.

USC is good. No doubt about it. So was OU in 2003. But, there are a lot of good teams with good coaches out there. Hawaii and Arky not included.
  3. Early in the season, like three weeks before, I was watching a preview show, and when the subject of USC came up, people were actually talking about how strong their schedule was. Saying that playing fresno state was big because they're a legitimate top 25 opponent and that they "get a chance to prove the doubters wrong when they play an sec team."

They then went on a big rant about how usc was going to prove everyone on the east coast wrong by beating an SEC team. They didnt mention lsu's game vs zona in 03, or even speculate to the outcome of the ASU game. Usc has a history of picking out week teams from the power conferences and beating up on them. (auburn, arkansas) It doesnt bother me, but for the media to act like usc beating arkansas will prove the "pac 10's dominance" does.
