    AU also gave members of their marching band an opportunity to purchase national championship rings. I have a friend with a daughter in the band, and they are considering it.

    Personally, I wouldn't buy it in that circumstance, but that's just me.

    '09 Outback Bowl against Northwestern ...... that's where this team "grew up" and established some leadership prior to the '11 season.

    These poor players get nothing for playing football.

    Did any of you receive rings/gifts for representing the school academically? Did you get an opportunity to showcase your talents in multi-million dollar facilities or on national television?
