I agree. Our team can't be over confident as a 3 pt. dog. They should be MAD :po: :angryfire  that they get no respect from the national media. Why, if nobody gives it to them, they'll have to go out and rape, burn and pillage, and EARN some respect!!!

It's Auburn week, and time to get yur blood up!

I would not get too worked up about the line - that is basically an edge on home field advantage for Auburn. It opened at 2.5, and people were betting Auburn because it was less then 3 points - thus the one point increase in the line to get some money to LSU. the line will likely end on 3. Pretty smart given the last 2 meetings were decided by 4 total points.

The last time I was this worked up for a game, was the Sugar Bowl back in aught three :) !

I can't tell you why exactly, I'm usually not that excitable.

Maybe its the potential I see in our young club? I like this team. I like the coaches. I'll still like them on Sunday, regardless the outcome.

3.5 underdog means LSU would be a 2 point fav. on a neutral site.

Wouldn't actually make us .5 dogs on a neutral site?

radio said LSU would be a 1.5 fav. on a neutral site, I just threw the other .5 in for good measure.

Actually, those that set the lines see this as a pretty even matchup. When that happens, the home team is automatically favored by 3.

3.5 seems about right when you consider they're playing at home and they have recent history on their side. Being that they're 3-0 against us at their house and we're 3-0 against them at our house over the last six matchups.

LSU actually opened only a 2' pt dog which is odd but the trend players know the last 6 went to the homies and laid some change on the chickens. now its up a point to 3'.
