1. I dont keep up with basketball. I know early on we lost some games. Are those still considered bad losses?
  2. LSU has a NET rating of 25, 11-4, 3-0 in SEC.

    : Lost 82-84 at VCU (NET 29, Q1)
    : Lost 78-80 vs Utah St (NET 80, Q2)
    : Lost 63-74 hosting ETSU (NET 58, Q2)
    : Lost 68-70 at USC (NET 73, Q1)

Currently the losses aren’t bad. Probably don’t have great wins. Keep gutting out wins; I’ll take backing into the NCAAT this year. I hope we get better as the season progresses. We look like a mess right now. Good in spurts, bad in spurts.

Smart had some good assists tonight.

  3. Sec wins always huge

Should be a decent seed at this rate
  4. TV said currently projected as Last 4 In.
  5. That’s better than I woulda thought to start the season.
  6. So you aren’t NCAAT or bust? I’d be begrudgingly satisfied to make any postseason this year. This team hasn’t looked pretty yet. I watched highlights of Waters... depressing. He made bonehead mistakes too, but he worked the floor effortlessly more often than not.

Plus we don’t look like a great jump shooting team. Given our makeup, we need to get more accurate.
  7. Not to NITpick but once you've been to the big dance everything else sucks.

  8. Last four in is bullshit. LSU is a slam dunk for the tournament. They are 27 in the NET rankings and rising.

And yes failure to make the tournament is a catastrophic disaster
  9. If WW makes the NCAAT this year... he’s good. Maybe needs to recruit better (Alleva undercut him last year), team currently is not great, just gritty. 3-0 in the SEC is good but we’ve looked very average doing it.
  10. I disagree. This team is good. 2 five star guys in Watford and williams. Mr basketball louisna javonte. 4 star days and veteran Skylar.

Any team with two 5 star guys shoud go to the tournament.
