I know it's early, but watching LSU on Saturdays and watching LSU players in the NFL on Sundays gets me excited!

This guy has a few LSU players going early...

    LaRon Landry
    - Round 1, Pick 13 to the Broncos
JaMarcus Russell - Round 2, Pick 17 to the Cowboys
Dwayne Bowe - Round 2, Pick 29 to the Patriots

It is a longshot, but it is possible we have three first rounders this year. Depends on combine. Especially for Bowe. if he runs in the 4.4 range he is a 2nd rounder, but under that gets him into the first. JR's stock will go up once he declares.

JR is a quagmire for the NFL right now. Will they see his great upside, or will they see the fact that he hasn't progressed all that much in his 3 years at LSU? Or will they attribute that to poor coaching? He could easily be a first rounder for a team who is willing to take that chance.

LaRon Landry's stock went up after the nationally televised game this weekend. That was sweet. The announcers were drooling all over him.

Dwayne Bowe, same problem as JR. Tremendous upside, but still sloppy play (running routes, blocking, dropping passes). His size alone gets him at least the 2nd round. How much higher, I have no clue who takes a chance on him.

Not so sure about DB. Unlike JR, he has TREMENDOUSLY IMPROVED since his eye surgery. He's catching everything in "sight", and he's running better routes. Now his blocking could improve, but he'll learn that quick in the NFL. Cause if you don't block, you don't play.

The prospects for JR are all deternined by how many teams want to take a qb early.. if there are quite a few in the first round, JR goes in the first round, if not, he will definately go in the 2nd... As for Bowe, I'm seeing him as a 2nd-4th round guy because he wont run a 4.4.. more like a 4.5...

I thought the same thing. IMHO JR is staying and won't declare.

Buster will be a first day pick as well. His new found punt return ability will only help his stock.

No inside info, but I highly doubt that JR leaves. He will surely be a top 10 pick next year.

I think JR stays too, he will be a early heisman top 3. Just think about Troy Smith, he didnt even start all the games last year and was benched during some big games (Texas for one) and he was at the top of the list before this season began. I think that JR wants that exposure before he ends his college career and bump up his NFL stock. IMO
