The video is mixed in with Fight Club scenes and one of my favorite Lil Wayne songs. This is episode 2 so I guess he is making one for all the 2006 games.
The links have been updated _____________________________________________ These pregame motivational videos were made by LSU. The editing quality is high and the available footage is killer. They include highlights from the previous game (the name of the video) and movie clips to set the tone / theme. EPISODE 1 EPISODE 2 - ULL EPISODE 3 - ARIZONA EPISODE 4 - TULANE EPISODE 5 - MISS ST EPISODE 6 - UK EPISODE 7 - FRESNO ST EPISODE 8 - TENN EPISODE 9 - BAMA /Senior Tribute
These have to be new motivational videos for the team. The absolute best LSU video's I have ever seen. If these don't pump you up there is something wrong.
They are. Episode One was watched before the first game, Episode 2 before the second game, etc. A guy got an extra copy from one of his buddies on the team. He took them down though because hes a little puss.
That's a shame...those were really incredible videos. I understand they are the property of LSU, but it would sure help us fans out during the long hot summer of no football.
Did anyone notice the Russell 500 lb bench press in the first episode. To tell you the truth, I never thought Russell was a "workout" man, but 500 pounds!!! Thats AMAZING for a QB.
I'm almost positive that wasn't Russell. Looks to be a lineman. Also, that spotter was helping way too much.
It was him, if you followed the video well, you'll know it. They show Landry lifting, then they show him playing, then they show Doucet lifting, then playing, then a Russell (body frame is very similar) lifting 500 pounds, then Russell playing. Even if the spotter was helping, its crazy for a QB to bench 500!!!
Watched the video but didn't download it so I can't go back and examine it now. 500lb benches are still not very common in the NFL, and even more rare in college. Never heard of a qb benching 500lb, and considering the hype that Russell is getting, I think this is one facet of his legend we would have definitely heard of by now. I suppose it's possible but just seems highly unlikely. Hope the vids get posted again so we can re-examine them.
