I registered on this web site because of the interest in the 1969 festival of life concert
The promoters of the concert were 2 local guys from New Orleans One of which I used to hang around with during that time period. I did go up to prairieville,for the festival but decided not to stay.The word was that many of the big name bands that were advertised didn't show up because they didn't know if they would be paid or weren't even booked I. believe the promoters did quite well financially.One of the promoters recently died and was also involved with a goverment disagreement.Details for another time.
