  1. Re: RB Bryce Brown

Be aware it was a tough decision for Arthur Brown when he selected Miami. I think he fell in love with the idea of playing for the "U" but certainly loved everything about LSU.

I have felt like it is a Oregon and LSU battle but I could be wrong.

This just came out as well:

Unless Bryce Brown makes a decision Wednesday, the nation's top-ranked recruit will be going somewhere other than Miami.

I can't imagine they would stick to that unless they already knew he was going to end up somewhere else and wanted to save a little face.

  5. Re: RB Bryce Brown

This statement ought to tell everyone something:

"... And most importantly spend some time with my brother."
  6. Re: RB Bryce Brown

Wonder how that will change with his offer expiring....
  7. Re: RB Bryce Brown

Exactly, he probably is going to stick with the U. And regret it.
  8. Re: RB Bryce Brown

I know we saw it reported that Miami would withdraw the offer, but I don't believe it. It makes no sense. You are not going to wait a few more weeks to see if you will get the #1 recruit in the nation after you have invested this much time in him? Do they have another player of his caliber that they will lose if they don't act quickly? I doubt it. Miami will wait for him unless they get the word they are totally out of it.
  9. Re: RB Bryce Brown

It may force his hand. Probably a bluff that won't work and they would re-offer.
  10. Re: RB Bryce Brown

If Randy Shannon said this himself then I believe it, they have at least 8 backs coming out of the Miami area in 2010, that they have their choice of.
