1. LSU hasn't had a single scholarship player transfer to LSU under Miles. I don't expect that to change this year.

Marve would have to sit out a year anyway, so by the time he could play we likely would've settled our QB issues.
  2. His release from Miami includes a clause he can't transfer to any SEC school.

  3. any SEC school?
why would Miami give a sh!t about him going to a school in a different conference?
  4. B/C they inquired about the possibility of a transfer to both LSU and UT before he said he was leaving Miami and Shannon found out.
  5. Can a coach really control what team a player transfers to? Aren't there rules that prevent that type of vindictive control?
  6. Schools can chose who they release a player to, but if they chose not to release the player to a certain school the player can still go there - he just has to sit out 2 years instead of 1.
  7. So let me get this straight. At what has to be a critical time in recruiting this year's class for Miami, their coach is being vindictive by not approving a transfer unless Marve enrolls in a non SEC or ACC school. Shannon really wants to punish this kid. If I were a recruit considering Miami, this would really make an impression on me.

Seminole trio, compare and contrast this with Coach Les Miles handling the current coaching changes with such class. Compare and contrast how he handled the Ryan Perriloux situation; giving him so much opportunity to reform before allowing him to play in the region for another conference.

Shannon, "You, sir, are no Les Miles"
(my apologies to presidential VP candidates from Texas)
  8. if clm had been like shannon then LSU might have had a better season and a brighter future.

and i doubt that shannon would have a problem letting marve go to FL International.
  9. WHAT?
