You guys are Midget league coaches with delusions of grandeur.

    I laugh at your arrogance.

So you were satisfied with LSU's offensive playcalling in Auburn 2006? Just making sure.

That was different. That season, we had no clear cut running back. All of them were struggling, even Hester, and the o-line couldn't run block for crap. Keiland didn't come on until later in the season. That's not so this year, since we have a lot of hosses.

You know, I had such similar thoughts earlier today. I wish him well. All this is also a challenge and test of his mental toughness.

I wish him well too. hell I wish he would make everyone here who says he blows into a liar including myself. the sooner the better. I hope Sabanfan comes on here and has to say we were all daft for thinking the kid blows. BUT the facts are he does, right now. And to say well he is a red shirt frehsman is a loser mentality. We play to win not make excuses. while we might have to suffer through a tough season with a green kid, it doesnt mean we cant HOPE he improves and EXPECT him to develop.

    thanks.

I am amazed how Miles is so dedicated in being a player's coach. He is so careful not to say anything that could "damage" a player's feelings in press conferences whether it is Hatch, Lee, or even Flynn in 06 coming out of fall camp. I am sure Bear Bryant, Steven Spurrier, and even little Nicky is or was as conscious about his players... NOT!!!. I laugh at Spurrier. He will tell the media his QB stunk it up and he won't start next week. He doesn't seem to care that he changes out QB's like a hand towel. He really didn't want to play Garcia this year but he was not satisfied with the other QB's play. He gave it a shot. Lee has had nearly two years in this system and had to have learned something from Flynn who probably was one of the most studious QBs that we ever had. If he still has to have a limited playbook, I question his development from this point forward. If Miles continues his player's coach antics and does not allow Jefferson the opportunity to even "win" the Troy game, look for the same from Miles as Shepard and Garrett roll into town.. We need the best "gametime" QB in the game and that requires meaningful playing time in a GAME...that might be even my 3 cents worth.

Calm down a bit, Miles said in a interview, that he should have played Jefferson against Bama and will play him against Troy. That is to be seen. Miles is working with what he has at the moment. Hes still a great coach, Top 5 in the country.
