1. Do you think if he was remotely ready to play that CLM would have put him in? The answer is YES.

No way does Miles stick with Lee and his repeatedly pathetic performances if Jefferson is ready to play. They would have made the switch a long time ago.

This team played it's guts out tonight only to lose due to a freshman QB. As ESPN just said, "Jarrett Lee singlehandedly lost the game for LSU".

We outplayed Bama in every way except at the most important position on the field.

Congrats Tigers for a gutsy performance.
  2. I suspect JJ doesn't have a clue about running the offense. Kid doesn't know the playbook.
  3. Why did he enter the Tulane game?
Its amazing that most people think that these kids never played a down of football in their lives until they go to college.
The kid has to know some plays after all of these years of playing football.
Kids do have success at times when coaches simplify the playbook, no?
Has anyone ever heard of this happening before, I know I have?

The amazing thing to me is that even if JJ isn't ready like some claim, btw its obvious that Jarrett Lee isn't ready either.
I don't see JJ doing any worse, bottomline put him in the game as a change of pace and see what he can do.
By some of your comments tonight, why in the hell did Trussell play TP from the USC game on and not Beckman, give me a break!
  4. If after 12 weeks during regular season and three weeks in August, Jefferson does not know enough to run a couple of series of downs, that is a coaching problem.
  5. Neither does Lee.
  6. I dont care if he cant tie his shoes Id like to see what he got. Hell my dog could improvise better than Lee. :dis:
    2 people like this.
  7. He did hand off VERY well against Tulane when he led the offense down the field on the last series and scored...easily.
  8. And he handed the ball off dang near every play.....

-10 LSU 46 LSU drive start at 04:08. 1-10 LSU 46 Jo. Jefferson at QB for LSU. 1-10 LSU 46 Stevan Ridley rush for 6 yards to the TULANE48 (HOLLAND, Devin;SKEHAN, David). 2-4 LSU 48 Stevan Ridley rush for 11 yards to the TULANE37, 1ST DOWN LSU (HOLLAND, Devin;DADE, Dominique). 1-10 LSU 37 Stevan Ridley rush for 18 yards to the TULANE19, 1ST DOWN LSU (BURKS, Travis). 1-10 LSU 19 Jo. Simplify against Tulane while up by 3 TD's yes! Simplify against the #1 team in the nation(NOT really) while tied or up by one score. Come on, is it really that hard to defend a team when you suspect all they are going to do is run the ball? Bammers knew what was coming MOST every play.

  9. With the results being what they are with these two guys one has to
wonder why they were rated so high??
  10. are you saying that T. Pryor of tOSU is smarter than JJ or Les Miles runs a more complicated offensive scheme than tOSU I dont understand.
