Just curious, but IF (and that's a very big IF) Bama was to run the table and play a Big 12 or Big 10 opponent in the MNCG, how many of you would actually pull for Alabama and who would pull for the opponent???
Would depend on the opponent. But looking at the potential suitors, I'd be pulling for a Bama loss. I take a lot of flak from people I know because of this, but I will NOT pull for a "rival". Unless it directly affects LSU. Screw conference loyalty. There are a handful of teams I simply despise, have despised for a long time, and will continue to despise for the rest of eternity. Your boys is one of those teams.
Would be pulling for any SEC team, Bama included, but would prefer Florida or Tennessee. It's not out of the question to think that Bama could still get in the NC game with one loss.
I understand where you are coming from although I dont see how anyone from the SEC could root for a Big 10 squad to win the national title. Even if it was Florida, i'd more than love to hear another S-E-C chant in the closing minutes of the MNCG again this year.
