  1. Hardly a scientific term, but meteorologists really do refer to that as a spaghetti map. And you do realize those abbreviations are not people, but computer models, right? Jeff Masters with wunderground.com says GFDI was the most accurate where Fay was concerned. If its right again, we'll keep our fingers crossed for you.

  5. Gustav has taken a turn south around Jamaica, that should delay a it a bit . . .

  6. Hopefully the Jamaican mountains will slow it down some more. That or the Jamaican rum.
  7. The 10am advisory has it going over Jamaica. Projected to already be making landfall on Tuesday morning.
  8. But that is a significant delay, because yesterday at this time, it was projected to make a Gulf Coast landfall on Monday morning.
  9. I'm afraid that Gustav is going to cause thousands of hypodermic needles to fly up into the atmosphere
  10. According to Jamaica this storm is a wet one.
