1. I don't follow baseball close enough to know but I was wondering- does he have an established rotation? Are our pitchers getting rest?
  2. he don't have a "true" rotation yet.

but yes, they get plenty rest (strict pitch count).

If you're unfamiliar with the situation, he pulled someone after 6 gem innings on Fri, b/c they exceeded their count.

the reliever got shelled in the 7th and lost.

  3. It's all good bro. You're just so busy "defending" people, that you've got an edge to you now. :hihi:
  4. Actually, I hadn't talked to Shane lately but I know the other night he came in, saw one batter, K'd him and was yanked.

    Thanks though. :thumb:
  5. theyre 20 years old. throw them til the shoulder falls off.
  6. that is the only aspect of physics that has devolved.

pitchers used to pitch every game.
  7. Well, Martin is pretty solid as a Friday starter and I think Bradford proved today that he's a starter, not a reliever. Just got to find that bullpen. I think we've got some good talent, just got to find the kid who can come in and focus.
  8. Lefty-righty, righty-lefty. Situational strategy. It's been done since the 1940s.

  9. I remember the days before the words "pitch count" meant anything? Even in little league I could pitch an entire game, I just couldn't pitch back to back games. My arm can still chunk the leather, and I am sure these young bucks that are actually in shape will be ok too.

Bah humbug to a friggin "pitch count". :angryfire
  10. Were you throwing those elbow wrenching curve balls? Softball pitchers can throw all day because there's no strain on the joints. Not so with "junk" pitchers.
