I fail to believe Les Miles had a knee jerk reaction. Lets see if he reinstates him in time for Spring Practices in the next week or so.
There's an implied hope that he DESERVES another chance, then TAKES ADVANTAGE of it. I trust in Coach Miles to determine if RP deserves that chance. Although, if the above rumor is true, my trust would be diminished a bit. I find it hard to believe, though.
From my friends mouth who lives in Baton Rouge........ He says, that RP isnt going to class which we have all heard, but he is actually failing his classes. It has nothing to do with his mom and all of that jazz. Also, the mandatory meetings that he missed were after the NC game, he didnt show up for. But he is working out with the OC. However, he is messing up really bad and if he doesnt get it together, he will be off the team. They are making another pitch at TP. Those are his words, take them for what you want.
I think the naivety on this forum is overwhelming. Hopefully scientists are working on a way to capture it and turn it into an energy source in an effort to bring Entergy's prices down. Ryan Perrilloux (or any player) is not going to get suspended indefinitely for missing a couple classes.
We discussed this in an old thread but thats actually a bad misconception of RP dont know where it started but he's actually a good student. But the fact is he did miss class which is minor and doesn't warrant a suspension IMO but the real factor is the missing of a "team" meeting the word in quotations is what is important because a team wins Championships not to mention he's the QB the leader of the team but saying that I'm still a 100% RP supporter and we've been friends and competitors since little and will be no how this situation turns out.
EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!! RP is LSU's STAR QB. He will start, he will play. You guys are forgetting that this is LSU, not Harvard. We compete with the best guys that give us a chance to win. RP gives us that chance. Without his play last year, we wouldn't have won the NC. We don't have another QB that is ready to play, much less a QB with RP's ability. Wise up guys. View attachment 10607
From The Advocate: LSU football coach Les Miles asked about suspended quarterback Ryan Perrilloux. Asked if there were new developments, Miles said, “Nothing.” Asked if he expected a change in the next week or so, Miles said, “No.”
You just insulted every other Tiger that helped win the NC last year. You just insulted the best Senior class that came through LSU. Tell Dorsey, Hester, Flynn, Doucet, and co. they were not good enough without the great superman himself, Perrilloux...go ahead tell 'em. We won NC's w/o superstar QB's and Russell was sooo great he never won any championship! It's a team sport and teams win titles not some loud-mouth blowhard like "Mr. Heisman" Perrilloux who is a disagrace to the uniform he wears. LSU won before him and will win without him and will win with more class without him! Oh, but I guess I forgot my quotes huh, Tirk?
I hear what you're saying about the team. Sure would've been a lot tougher to win the SEC CG without RP, though.
Are you really trying to say that RP was not a major piece to the NC team? Sorry, your hate is clouding rational thought again. He never said that the other senior did not matter either because we wouldn't have won the NC without Dorsey, Steltz, Flynn, Hester, etc...
