I'm certainly no Ohio State fan, but if the roles were reversed, I'd be pissed. We both have only one loss, yet they are now 7th, when yesterday they were 1st? A playoff is needed badly.

BCS may say different but the human factor will definatly hurt as well as the SOS.

I shed no tears for them. They lost to an unranked team at home. They are lucky to be in front of ASU. Even though ASU escaped UCLA yesterday, their only loss is to #2 Oregon on the road. The Sun Devils have a beef.

not too far from the norm,is it? you lose, you go to the back of the line right? its not like they were put behind a 2 loss team.

What about Kansas? I know they have a fairly easy schedule but they are still undefeated in a BCS conference. They have put up pretty impressive wins over OSU and Nebraska. It will be hard to keep them out of it if they can win the Big-12.

I certainly agree with you on this one.
It makes no sense much like the college football pre-season rankings or the post season scenarios.
You can paint any picture you like on the way things are developed but the only thing that can fix an imperfect system is some kind of playoff system.

Auburn was left out of the picture a few years back and someone could be left out this year.
I pray its never LSU that gets the snub!

I think KU has a more legitimate shot to claiming number two than does Oregon. They haven't had the toughest schedule, but they impressed me last night (by eventually putting a very determined and scrappy OSU away in the end.) Okie State is NOT a bad team. If KU happens to beat Mizzou and OU and wins the Big XII, they should play LSU for the :crystal:, IMO. Even though their schedule is laughable, how can you keep out an undefeated major conference champion?

You Can't keep out an undefeated BCS conference champion and KU will not be left out. How I see it playing out if LSU wins out and KU wins out they will play in the BCSNCG. If tOSU wins at the Big House and plays in the Rose bowl vs Oregon than the winner of that game will cry they are NC if LSU beats KU in the BCSNCG and I can see a split champ. I am hoping it does not play out that way.....JMHO:geaux:
