  1. Your excuse for the ball hitting the ground CLEARLY before he scoops it up and gets CLEAR possession of the ball is "his elbow hit". What a freaking joke that is. NO CATCH!! The replay was VERY conclusive. The ball hits the ground and jumps up 7 inches. The ball can't touch the ground before the WR has clear possession of the ball. That's the CONCLUSIVE evidence...the ball hit the ground, and he did have control of it. If this is a non biased play, you would agree....NO CATCH!!!

Im still trippin on the elbow touched theory....
  2. If it was a complete pass because his elbow touched first then hypothetically he could have completely dropped the ball after landing and it still would have been complete. I don't think so.
  3. The league office should release their interpretation of the call either later today or tomorrow. Not that it will end the debate.
  4. It was a catch. They showed a replay and it was a definite catch and a good one at that.

I am happy that our DB's and safeties don't have to deal with Brown and Hall.
They schooled our guys on a couple of plays.

Yes LSU got some big plays with Byrd but the DB's weren't burned and Flynn made good passes.
  5. Yes. You are getting this. Elbow=Knee... if he has control (debatable) when his elbow was down.
  6. Yall STILL talkin about the Bama game? Geez that is SOOOO last weekend... :dis:

  7. Hey dude! We played you last week and won. You are old news. You need to be worried about your upcoming games, especially Auburn (who will beat you). Peace out holmes.
  8. I can't believe this is even a debate. It's blatantly obvious the ground helped him catch the ball. The only way it could possibly have been ruled a catch is if his hands are totally under the ball, or the ball doesn't hit the ground at all.

The replays and the picture on the first page proved otherwise.

If you think there is even a chance it was a catch, you don't watch enough football :dis:

  9. Bama fans can't read.

You cannot allow the ball to hit the ground when you make a diving catch, simple as that. The replay confirmed that he used the ground to "trap" the ball.

It doesn't matter when his elbow hit, if you don't have possession you don't have possession. If the ball hits the ground it's not a catch brosef. Get over it.

  10. I thought it wasn't a good overturn, but an elbow/ass/kneecap doesn't equal a foot hitting the ground. Anytime an elbow, ass, or knee hits the ground, the player is down. Foot...not so much.
