1. Yea that was the order

    I'd go:

    LSU
    Oregon
    Ohio State
    West Virginia
    Boston College
  2. Okay, mine were based on the teams on the board.

I would definitely put WVU up there as they have been playing lights out lately.
  3. As I posted earlier, all it takes is for the media to run with the Oregon thing. So there's the first salvo.

Tomorrow's human polls will tell the story. Real chance for Oregon to jump both OU and LSU in the Coaches poll. Maybe not the Harris (I think they jump OU but not LSU).

What that would mean is style points will matter from here on out.

And God help us ASU needs to lose this damn game to Cal. ASU cannot be undefeated next week against Oregon.
  4. Great point, and more importantly we have the media in our favor.

    1. If we are ahead of Oregon tomorrow that is a HUGE statement.
    2. Bama will move up a lot with teams in front of them falling. We may hate it, but Gameday in TTown may be huge, as we can make a big point with a win next week with everyone watching.
  5. We will not get jumped. We had a bye so we will stay where we are.
  6. Exactly, and the SECCG should be enough to put y'all in the BCSCG. The SECCG carries a lot of weight.
  7. Look for some media talking heads to go negative against LSU and the SEC in coming weeks to stir the pot. We are now in the home stretch to the BCSNCG and each conference wants one of their teams in.
  8. Should LSU win out......I would hope that you get to go to the BCSCG. Not gonna happen though, SEC will get skipped over this year. Can't let the dirty ol' SEC go slap around a media darling from the Big 10 again.

Mark it down........SEC will get left out.
  9. I don't think there's any big dissin' going on about LSU. It's just that the pool of "championship" teams is now more definable. The teams 1 thru 5 all have a legit argument.... and the media is doing a great job of playing the hype.
I said it last week. LSU needs a signature game, best done against Bama. The home wins against Florida and Auburn were big time wins, but both are proving to be good, but not great teams this year.

Fair or unfair, a close win over Bama ain't what you need to have happen this weekend. Win with a statement and I'll bump you up, but here's how I see it:

    tOSU (again fair or unfair)
Oregon (when they handle ASU this week at home)
    LSU
    West Virginia
    Oklahoma
  10. If it plays out that way, maybe we can secure the AP Championship. Anyone take a "Split"?
