Ok, so I really don't think I could have picked a better game to be my first experience in Death Valley. I want to apologize for not being able to meet any of you, but I got there just in time to have a drink and head over to watch the team and band come down the hill. I had an AWESOME time!!! I thought I was a Tiger fan before, but now... WOW. I must say I am addicted, lol. I think I teared up a few times with emotion from hearing the band, seeing Mike, being surrounded by "my people" and not being an outsider, and just the whole experience. My fiance laughed at me a couple of times for getting so excited. I didn't lose my voice, but came pretty darn close. Thank you all for making such a memorable first experience.

I'm glad you had a good time. My first game in Tiger Stadium was against AU as well. The Earthquake game back in '88. I was hooked for life after that experience as well.

Glad you had a good time Tigerfanten. How did you become a tiger fan? Did you go to LSU?

It's always interesting to hear how some that didn't attend LSU became fans.

Didn't go to LSU but grew up in DeRidder, Louisiana. I moved to Johnson City, TN after 8th grade and lived there until about 2 months ago (hence the name). Not I'm living in Tallahassee, FL. I was a fan when I was little, but really being around all the people singing Rocky Top for 12 years just fueled the fire  . And now, living in FSU and Gator country is really only helping it because I have a whole new set of people to laugh at when their team loses :hihi: .
