1. Hester, Dorsey "Letter" to Students

Now, either Skip or O'Keefe need to make an official statement about this.

I always thought this would be a good approach to this problem. Glad to see Dorsey and Hester make their opinions known (whether they wrote it or not).. It says alot about their character.
  3. Re: Hester, Dorsey "Letter" to Students

I wouldn't be surprised if they did write it. It sounds like student writing to me.

I think this was a positive step in the right direction.

Class usually shows itself whether after a loss or this kind of reaction to low class. Whether or not they wrote it they HAD to give permission for their names to be used and they agreed with the statements. It shows alot of class for them to address the situation the way they did.
  5. Well done...hope it works.:thumb:
  6. Re: Hester, Dorsey "Letter" to Students

Oh boy....I hear ya loud and clear. :hihi:

As an English major with a certification in Education and 20 years in the Public School, that was loud and clear.......oh, did I leave out former athlete and coach.......... "Those dumb jocks".

I know you weren't REALLY meaning it like that, neither am I incenuating (Is dat how u spell dat wurd? :hihi: ) it towards our players, just couldn't resist- it jumped out at me cause I've heard it too many times as a player, coach, and educator.
  7. Granted, I don't think they actually wrote it or came up with the idea, but I think they agreed to sign it. Having the team or Miles speak out about it will have much more of an impact than O'keefe and/or Skip (not to mention internet forums.)

    Does it matter?

No, its smart. I support what they said, I just wanted to kill the momentum of the Dorsey and Hester lovers.

EDIT: I made the original comment to respond to O'Keefe and Skip, mainly.
