As a longtime UH mini-fan and resident of the 50th state, I can only tell you that I sure as heck don't expect UH to got to a BCS bowl - even if they run the table. I think the offseason is getting to the sportswriters as much as it is the message-board posters. This guy just had far too much of an urge to write before his mind was fully engaged. IMO, that's just ..... dumb!
I know what you mean and agree, but what LSU really NEEDS is to win the SECC. For LSU the only road to NOLA and a possible showdown with the Trojans is thru Atlanta.
The only thing they have going for them is that Petersen decided to stay. Otherwise they are just another Utah.
