I think it would have been better if Saban came out and said he made up the joke. I thought it was funny.
Wondering if the national media would catch wind of this..... I think a lot of people in Louisiana would have used the word coonass without thinking much of it. However, it didn't look or sound good coming from the mouth of someone of Saban's position, esp. at this sensitive period. Imagine hearing hearing voice clip of Skip saying that word.
