He's no longer even trying to disguise his disdain for Miles and LSU: http://www.theadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070105/SPORTS/701050325/1006/SPORTS
Yep, he didn't want to give us much credit when Saban was here, now he refuses to give any credit to Miles. I think the only way Miles could get any credit for the job he's done would have been to release all of the good players he inherited and start over from scratch. Of course Guilbeau would still have found something wrong even if Les has lead us to 2 MNC's with all freshmen and sophs..
I'm not even going to click the link. I read enough. He is running out of games to bash CLM and it worries him. Anyone remember this article? http://www.lsubeat.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061211/SPORTS0402/612110303/1036 He claims this was one of CLM's toughest coaching hurdles and he passes with flying colors. Yet today he is still a mediocre coach. He is running out of excuses. Edit: I think he handled the suspension of Daniels and Holliday well also. So in that sense I think he did a good coaching job.
What an ill-informed idiot........ 911 was in New York and the Hurricane was in our front yard. Anybody have an address to send an editorial, I may write one and send it.
What an idiot... Other than 2003, Saban didn't even with this much with his own players! Talk about a selective memory. :geauxtige
Just when I thought he couldn't be any douchebaggier he become ever more douchbaggier than before. He is the douchbaggiest but I guess everyone should be good at something. He has found his calling...
Tiga, don't waste your precious time trading jabs with that idiot and the other Anti-LSU crowd at the (S)Advertiser. If you do subscribe to the rag, I highly recommend that you purchase a bird and a cage. That way you can actually get some use out of the sports page !
22-4, two bowl wins and a great future. What is the problem? Nick gave us 9-3 years and one Great year.
