Looking solely at the record, and ignoring troubling signs is a mistake. We just went to OT v. Ole Miss (including a 4th down to get to that point), and lost the two biggest games of the year (including one in which they clearly weren't ready to play.) Maybe he should be canned, and maybe not. But to disregard the discussion based exclusively on the end result is a mistake.
We're 20-4 over 2 seasons. What direction do you want to go? Special teams were horrible tonight but they have performed well all season. Our defense has played so well that a merely good outing seems like a problem, but, in fact, the defense completely and totally shut down Ole Miss in the 2nd half to allow us to come back and win. Read this tomorrow so you can see how ridiculous that sounds. Of those coaches, only Nutt's and Meyer's teams are ranked ahead of us and after next week, it'll only be Meyers.
I am not ready to throw Les out on the street, but I am not 100% convinced that he is the best for this program.
I'm seriously trying to figure out how you could possibly agree with that statement? The obvious conclusion is that you hope we lose more. That defies logic.
