Yep, we are now in super shit show status. Need a 5-3 decision to rule and with Roberts being a flake who knows. If they end up 4-4 it reverts back to lower court rouling. Gotta hope it ends up in one of those where Trump placed a judge!

 

Going to br interesting to see how trump plays this.

 

This is where Harry Reid’s effort to weaken the filibuster will bite democrats on the ass. Let’s see if the Republicans in the senate have the balls to confirm a nominee and if Trump is willing to risk re-election to nominate one.
Hopefully he’ll nominate Amy Coney Barrett a New Orleans native and true conservative.

I can't see a scenario where Trump doesn't nominate someone. Assuming he does, why would the Senate Republicans not have to balls to confirm the nominee?

 

McConnell already said they are all in to make it happen. It's happening. Dems will line up tooth and nail and this will be the knife they cut their own throats with

I agree but confirmation depends on Susan Collins, the woman from Alaska and a couple of other weak links. It depends on whether or not the rest of the republicans can toughen them up or not.
