Alabama screwed out of NC

    Watched a replay of Clemson vs Alabama and as much as I want to beat them they were screwed out of the NC last year. The winning play by Clemson was the most egregious and obvious pick plays I have ever seen. If you get a chance to see that play I think you will agree.

    youd have to be dumb to not know that was coming. clemson and bama always run that near the goal line. just line up and stop it.

    I struggle to empathize with a team that claim 17 or 16 or whatever it is by now.

    Seems like a taste of their own medicine to me. As others have stated, that same play is a staple of their offense.

    Saban is tight with Belichick. Yes, the respective greatest coaches of their profession talk on a regular basis. Yes, they have discussed The Play. Both of them, actually. The one who won a ring and the one who lost a ring.

    "Bill calls it a pick. We call it a rub," Saban growls. He points out that he's plenty familiar with the concept. In 2014, Bama ran a textbook rub to defeat LSU in OT. Then he echoes another bud, Dabo Swinney: "I don't care what you want to call it. It was a damn touchdown is what it was."
