Alleva lost his financial support the last 2 days when the price of Jimbo got higher and higher, the last counter Sexton made was the last straw. He didn't get this done at the price he promised. I can't see how LSU can extend his contract another year after the 1 yr contract he got this year. He really put LSU at a disadvantage even further than it was before and if Miles comes close to the playoffs in the next year or two that will be quite an accomplishment after all this.

The problem would be getting that special buyout in the contract and get Herman. Boosters weren't willing to take that chance.

So, Alleva didn't exactly say Miles won't be fired, did he? Miles is our coach and will be our coach doesn't mean at some point he won't be our coach. Can he still be aiming for the Houston dude or elsewhere?
