1. harris can't understand the playbook wow,in a dinosaur miles offense run up the middle what's so hard about that?
  2. Actually that was a comment about Aleva. However I have always advocated holding those responsible to high standards. That is where my support of Les is derived. Those who bitch about 10 win seasons have a serious problem with reality...those who completely defend the past couple of years should look again. Les is ultimately responsible and no one should be happy with the decline in results over the past 3 years. If the team doesn't show significant improvement in play and results next year serious heat is due.
To hold to fixed positions regardless of results is like being a broken clock....right twice a day but useless in telling time.
  3. Yeah, I wondered if you meant Alleva. It read as if you were referring to Miles.

Agree about Alleva, at least from what I can tell. He just seems like the guy who was always the ass-kisser growing up, and slimes out of responsibilities. Just the vibe I get about him. But, just like we talk about regarding interactions with coaches and players, none of us really know. I'll bet when it comes down to objective stuff like numbers in fund raising, or other measurables in his job performance, he appears great on paper. The subjective stuff like leadership, decision-making, leading by example, those are the areas he seems to be a shmo (sp?).

  4. Bob Brodhead was a great AD and an outsider
  5. I'm far from a kid you old f*** and have been going to LSU games since I was 4 y/o and started attending my first LSU football camp under Arnsparger. You can't see the Forrest from the trees. If Miles Started 100 - 0 but then went 0 - 40 his last four years would you say he's getting the job done because he's 100 - 40. Stop living in the past and open your eyes.
  6. Red, not be confrontational, but if CLM goes 4-4 or 5-3 in SEC next year does he need to go? Just trying to see where we draw the line in the sand with CLM.
  7. Calm down and don't assume that I'm picking on you. I haven't written anything recently about wanting "him gone" or not. I'm trying to take in as much info as I can and think it all over in good time.

I do find it interesting that this board has changed over the course of some time. The Pro Miles people seem to be outnumbered at this point in time.

Coach Miles is never going to have a losing season at LSU. He will never go 6-6 in my humble opinion. As such, he is not going to be fired ever, in my view. As long as the program is making money, he won't be fired.
  8. I know that you asked Red and I hope he answers. My guess is that as long as the program is making money, 4-4 next season won't cause Miles to be fired. He will be dealing with a new DC.

  9. why are you asking questions like you dont know anything on the subject. les has been here 10 years. how long do you need to have an opinion.

  10. I am constantly re-evaluating and re-assessing my views on various topics. Why are you being so hostile?

I have stated that the Pro Miles people are now outnumbered around here. That was not the case as early as one year ago. Am I correct in this assessment?
