Interesting quote from Miles at today's press conference...

@MattMoscona: Miles: "We're a team with real designs on the back end of the season...the time to work is now."

Many ways to interpret this but to me I hope it means that although we have seen some "historical" offensive production from this years LSU team We are intentionally "holding some things back" for Bama and A&M.

    What do you think?

I hope that is what he means.

I think it's fair to assume he hasn't shown everything vs. UAB and/or Kent St. Also sure there will be some wrinkles per each opponents' weaknesses.

I hope it means that, but not necessarily for Bama and A&M. I realize the threat they pose...but these ass whippings should come with an equal opportunity statement.

No ass whipping shall be delivered on the basis of race, creed, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, living arrangement, preference for cousins or sisters, spit or swallow, teeth color, body odor, etc. If you're on the schedule, you get the same ass whipping everyone else gets. Now get in line.

He let the cat out of the bag with that 28 yard pass down the seam to Dickson. I was hoping to totally surprise Saban with a pass to the TE.

Keeping with the "aint seen nothing yet" topic, Jeremy Hill says he is only at 80% after the long lay off!

Can't watch the vid at work but really?! Damn, that 58-yarder vs Kent St was classic Hill...bust through the first level with power and then take it to the house with speed.

However, we haven't seen any throws to the RB's coming out of the backfield yet...

They have thrown it to the fullback in every game so far.

I also tend to think part of this statement by Miles leads us to believe there might be some stuff like screens to the RBs that have not yet been shown, but will be used as the knife in our opponents backs.
