There is a lot of chatter swirling around about Hurst. I've seen rumors that he has quit the team, potential tweets quoting Miles that he is dealing with "personal issues" (insinuating that he won't play this weekend), rumors of a confrontation with Miles.... Has anyone heard anything?

My hat's off to him if he actually had the gall to call out the almighty Les. It's not the appropriate thing to do and he will likely regret it later, as he should. But, you still have to have a weird admiration for it, if that's what happened. Players taking part in confrontational behavior with their superiors is wrong. That doesn't always prohibit such conflicts from occurring.
