3 teams I have come to dislike/respect and why... CHOOSE YOURS

If anyone on this sight does not believe Saban`s flight was planned way before he actually left thier crazy.So after saying that the teams I dislike the most are any team that thinks thier coach is better than Les Miles!!!!!!!!

 

i agree..i love my tigers and i can remember sitting in the stands waiting for us to win one game, but if we dont win a nc some fans got stupid...i love my coaches, players and i will stand behind them no matter what, always have and always will....

Sorry if I offended you, but I'm just going off of my personal experience. I'm sure there are plenty of hog fans that know a lot about sports.

 

That's good to know! I was just bustin your chops a bit. I was hoping you were, especially being from Covington.

 

Without knowing to what, exactly, you are referring, I think you may be blurring the lines a bit.

Having little disappointments here and there and being upset with are not = to disrespect. That's like someone criticizing their family. They can do it but let someone else.

Maybe you saw some things I didn't. To me it was pretty easy to tell the fans who were disappointed and the ones who just weren't really fans.

Still, for many of these arm-chair QB's- right or wrong- it's just how they enjoy college football.

 

Hate
1. Auburn - dirty program, dirty players. Coaches have always ignored it and the fans I know don't seem to care.
2. Alabama - used to like the Tide anytime they weren't playing LSU but in recent years their fans have become delusional. Plus, the Saban factor.
3. Texas A&M - goes way back. School, teams and fans want respect for stone-aged success and ancient non-football traditions. Fans I know don't seem to care if they win or lose as long as they get to see that boring band and the corps. I call it the corpse band, they don't like me much.

Dislike
1. Oklahoma - the Switzer years. Enough said except that Stoops and the entire damned state, despite a terrible big game record, always act so superior.
2. Any team from the Big East Conference - are you kidding me?
3. Ole Miss - the Rebs/Bears/Whatevers used to be on my hate list but now thanks to Shepherd Smith I just feel sorry for them. Their fans don't have a clue how irrelevant their teams are.

Respect
1. Vanderbilt - with their academic standards and recruiting nightmares it is amazing that they can field competitive teams and from time to time have a successful season.
2. Rice - like Vanderbilt they have a hard time recruiting with their standards. Great fans and a 55-game history with LSU.
3. SMU - the school, football program and fans took their medicine and moved on. Now looks like they're moving up.

Love
1. LSU!

 

HATE:

1a). Auburn--they're the Ohio St./Florida St. of the SEC and they keep walking that thin sheet of ice with it all. Their arrogance with getting away with all of it is maddening.
1b). Florida--Spurrier was a cock back then (fitting he coaches them now). Florida was nothing before him--a pimple on the a$$ of progress in the SEC. But you'd never know it by talking to their fanbase. They act like they've been an SEC power for the past 40+ years.
1c). Bama--They think they're so much better than anyone else...and even when you BEAT THEM, they STILL act like they're better.

2.) USC--Pete Carroll....now Kiffin. Snake in the grass the both of them.

3.) WVU--Their head coach is a classless idiot and so are their fans.

RESPECT:

1.) Tenneessee--lots of great personal friends associated with the Vols. Always have had a great time with them for the LSU/UT games.

2.) Wisconsin--very solid program yet they are constantly over-shadowed by Michigan and Ohio St seemingly ever year. Plus wife is from Milwaukee so that also helps

3.) Notre Dame--I know lots of fans loathe them. But I resepect them--always have. It's my Catholic upbringing I guess.

 

I always hated Notre Dame. My cousisn ended up going to school there, and hewas in the band. He invited me up to a game. The experience completely flipped me. The campus is perfect. I did not see a single blade of grass pointing in the wrong direction.

 

Teams that I love to see lose and lose big

1. Auburn ... the fans are A**holes and the program reeks of corruption..
2. Tennessee.... phat phil phucker
3. Boise St... lil ****s play one game a year and think that they belong with the big boy programs.

Teams I like :

Alabama ... of course ... who in thier right mind wouldn't like a winner
LSU .. ok i'll admitt I love the accent of the bayou girls
any team that is currently beating the chit out of a lame kitten coached team
