Some folks are just unhappy and never satisfied -- I don't pay attention to it. Let's enjoy this ride. The D is fun to watch, and the offense does what it has to do. :geauxtige
When a team is great predictability doesn't matter. Everyone on the planet knew Tommy Frazier was going to run the option 40 times a game. Nobody stopped him. We are going to line up and run the football between the tackles, and wear the other team out. That is LSU football, and it equals wins.
It's only the 3rd game. We haven't seen all there is to see from this offense. Some fans are just like the media in that they are only impressed with big offensive numbers. I am enjoying the hell out of this season so far. The talking heads are hard pressed to come up with negative things to say about this team.
If Michael Jordan had that mentality he would have been just another basketball player and the Army's motto would be "be less than you can be".
At the end of the day, all that matters is there is another number in the win column. Would I have liked to see a blowout? Of course I would, but we did see a lot of little things tonight that showed improvement over last year. No one is going to look back at the end of the year and complain about how we should have hung 50 on MSU. :geaux:
Nonsense. A winning formula is a winning formula. Flashy sizzle 3-0 offense < Gritty ram you till you break 3-0 offense. We have already seen two of the top flashy sizzle offenses get b!tch slapped by our team with the gritty ram you till you break 3-0 offense. And just how would Michael Jordon's attitude have changed the Army's old slogan?
I was very pleased with Lee's performance, and there is always room for improvement for the offense. I think that would come. I suspect the O coordinators would prob. start putting in more wrinkles in the back pocket ready for use when the teams gets into the heart of the SEC schedule. I would like to see this offense like the 2007 team, being able to consistently move the ball with a balanced attack.:geaux: BTW, I wonder what happened to Deangelo Peterson last night; not too conspicuous in the offensive scheme. Beckam is really special.
Exactly, what about Bama in 09' they lined up the in wild cat with Ingram on 3rd & 3 several times and converted. It is NO secret we want to run the ball, and we are going to get ours, but as our passing attack becomes more and more visible, we only become that much more dangerous.
coaches are working Lee in slowly and then the offense will follow. not a wide open passing game but a little more down field. 9 in the box and eventually we have to let Lee kill them. I told someone at half Randle could have 200 yds this game. If this game was a few more games into the season I think he would have. that dude is smooth.
