Lee wasn't expected at practice in order to discuss with his family and work on negotiations. Him being at practice or not doesn't really mean anything. He is still on campus.

Now I haven't seen any reports that they are closing on a deal from a reliable source yet. But they usually say that when discussions are going on.

Lee is on campus and his family is in Texas.

I am sure something will leak. We will at least know if he signs the dotted line. But I predict that no one will be satisfied until we see he is at practice tomorrow morning.

Not sure how strong the source is but someone claiming to have connections in the Dodgers front office says that they knew Lee's magic number but the Dodgers didn't match it.
