Great addition, wouldn't you agree. Food, food, and then even more food. The group had tenderloin ordered buy the appetizers are worth hitting every time you get a chance.

    Had an amazing experience.

We stayed in B'ham with some friends. Went to a place called Rojo's on Friday, was a small place but still got more geaux tigers than roll tide.

We left around 8:45am for the game to make sure we got there with plenty of time to enjoy tailgating. The strangest part of our trip happened on the way there. We passed an exit that said something like "Stadium Route". We just ignored it because we had a different route planned.

I am not sure what was happening ahead, but when we passed exit 100 there was a line of cars as far as you could see down the interstate, going the wrong way on the shoulder and up the entrance ramp (Where the people would be coming down to get on i-20). All the gameday traffic in the 2-3 rightish lanes were all pulling U turns and going up the hill. We saw Alabama flags doing it and figured they knew something we didn't and followed suit. We were worried for a while because the "Gameday/Stadium Route" signs happened every 10 miles and we were on some 2 lane country highway, but we made it and got to do some crazy stuff on an interstate that I bet I will never get to do again.

We got there around 10:15 and had the same observations alot of others have already said. LSU could make a killing charging like 'Bama does for parking, and as a visiting fan not 100% certain where to safely park, I was happy to pay the charge for nice parking in a good location. Had room to grill and our friends were late, so we just setup there for a few hours. Also thought campus was pretty empty, especially since the game was pretty early. It filled up nicely though (I think we were just ahead of the rush) and their quad area/frat row was awesome when we ventured in. LSU was representing everywhere, and you would just find yourself in a huge LSU crowd screaming the fight song every other block.

Their campus is really nice. Their stadium is really nice, I really like their lighting system. Even though we were in the middle of the Bama section (S-8), they were really nice and only two bad ones; one an annoying person in front of us, and one a scary roid rage guy that went absolutely nuts on us in the concession line. Other Bama fans got the cops and backed us up though, so he got taken out and we just made a few new friends. All in all, it was what I figured it would be: a great experience with 1-2 people that tried to ruin it. Was my best away game experience to date.

Glad we won though, made the walk/drive home alot better.

Honestly, I thought the "visiting" experience was greater two years ago. There seemed to only be vocal LSU fans around. I walked across campus at least 4 times and only spoke to 1 Bama fan.

The stadium didn't seem quite as loud either from two years ago. I really lost respect for the school as how they set up the visiting sections. It seemed like they tried to spread us out as much as possible, with no more than 1000-1500 fans sitting together at one place.

The worst thing that happened all day was the many spurts in the stadium that were cheering when Dorsey went down, then when Flynn went down.
