bracing for another round which is supposed to hit tomorrow evening. another 8-12 inches of snow and wed, the highs in the low teens, with a low wed night of 2 degrees. :bncry:
DFW's next winter storm warning goes into effect at midnight tonight. My nine-year-old summed it up best yesterday when she said, "You know, snow isn't all that special when it happens all the time."
spending the snow day doing paperwork and making a big pot of chicken/sausage gumbo. but what i really want to do is just curl up in bed and take a nap. i am so relaxed the past couple of days i just dont want to do anything. except relax a bit more. eta: shoveled the drifts away from an outbuilding, shoveled and cleared a path off the patio for the dogs, cleared paths out the garage to the driveway/parking, hired someone to clear the bulk of the driveway, and shoveled around the gate where the guy with the dozer couldnt get. this is sooooo not my idea of relaxing!
if we dont get some warm sunny days, i am gonna go bat shyt crazy. for the past week i sound like a broken record...... "NO" "what are you eating?" "get that out of your mouth!"
low 40's and rain AGAIN! This has got to be the worst winter I've experienced since I moved here! Sheesh!!!!!!!!
I left Wichita Falls just in time. I'ts been single digits there for most of the past week. Makes the high 30's and low 40's here seem downright balmy.
