Okie I know you are a great cook so I thought I'd share this recipe I saw on tv yesterday.

    Almost Stuffed Pork-Chops
    4 1-inch thick pork chops
    1 cup bread crumbs
    1/2 cup chopped scallions
    1 cup finely chopped mushrooms
    1 tablespoon parsley
    1 tablespoon dijon mustard
    Juice of one lime

1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees and coat a 9x13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray
2.) Brush both sides of the pork-chops with lime juice
3.) Mix all remaining ingredients until well blended and top each pork chop with a generous portion.
4.) Bake for 40-45 minutes or until done

I'll let you know how it turns out... it's in the oven now.

    onions
    garlic

Southwest chicken soup with chips and salsa. A nice glass of red wine to wash it down. I know that I'm "supposed" to be drinking white wine with chicken. I drink what I like to drink with whatever I eat ! The wine police can arrest me if they like.

The best thing abour stir fry is it's really good for ya, provided the
sauce isn't too bad (sodium, sugar, etc.)

    Tonight?

    Leftovers from NFL playoff Sunday:

Crawfish cappellini bambino w/ LOOZIANA crawfish and habanero jack cheese.
    Fresh steamed asparagus
    Garlic bread

I'm normally not a big leftover guy, but tonight... :thumb:

This weekend will entail a 140 mile round trip to the Salinas Farmer's Market...

    Y'know, America's Salad Bowl...

In search of fresh halibut fish cheeks for Saturday evening entertaining...

Wrap 'em in prociutto and slap 'em on the ol' mesquite fired grill...

    Oh, my.

    Yeah, I'm a foodie...
