WE SHOULD GET ALEXANDER AND HOPEFULLY RICKY JEAN BACK TO HELP THE D-LINE OUT. I THINK NEVIS AND WOODS HAVE LOOKED PRETTY GOOD. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIELD ANOTHER STOUT DEFENSE THAT IS JUST A NOTCH BELOW THE PREVIOUS COUPLE OF YEARS.:LSU231:

This is from Dandy Don's site. Looks to me like we have a pretty good defense coming back. LSU is losing some big names, but that has been every year. Our D will be good.

We lost a lot of quality players on both sides last year and bounced back fairly well, no?

I think the secondary takes the biggest hit, likely more due to experience than raw talent.

LBs are a bit unproven as well, are they not? Beckwith is obviously a stud, but I'm not sure how Cutrera, Riley and Sheppard have played except on special teams.

The D-Line has the potential to be very good.

I don't know. The biggest loss on D could be the coach?

and a very good D line can make the secondary look better. I think the secondary can be good. There are a couple of good young men coming back. I think JAI Eugene will develop into a very good d back.

At the first of the season I was worried about what our football team would be like next year. To me it looks like it will be more of the same.

Our lines on both sides of the ball will be very good and that is were most games are won and lost. We may not have a Dorsey in there but overall I think they will be just as good as a unit.

Everyone else is worried about the linebackers but I'm not, I think were good there also. If Beckwith come back we'll be even better. We've got some fast guys waiting for their turn. I think JC is gonna be a stud.

I am not worried at all about the safeties if anything we may be better. Chad is a beast!

Corner will need a little bit of a learning curve but I think they will do just fine. We've recruited well there in the past couple years.

Over all I think alot of our success next year depends on the coaches. If CLM is here we do just fine. Maybe this is from a homers view but I try to be as realistic as I can.
