I have to say, I was scared to death when Dorsey had his knee rolled up again in the 1st qtr.

It was obvious he wasn't up to full speed when in the open, but he still gave the OL fits and made some great plays.

Do you think he should have played in the 2nd half?
Yes we needed him, but I also want him around for the Arkansas game and hopefully the SECCG and Bowl game. Also I want him to have a great pro career.

Now I'm not saying he should sit the rest of the season, but Dorsey's knee was in bad shape that 2nd half.

I think CLM needs to let him rest for the LaTech and Ole Miss game and hopefully be 100% for the Arkansas game, SECCG and bowl game. We will definitely need him in the Arkansas game to help stop the run up the middle with Jones and McFadden.

That's what I think should happend, what about you guys?

I agree. My dad and I were actually just talking about this last night.

I thought they should have been more cautious with him Saturday. I don't recall exactly when he returned to the game, but I thought he should have stayed out while LSU seemed to be in control.

They shouldn't need him against La Tech. Give him the week off to rest/heal.

That said, I am not convinced he's 100% human.

What a warrior! He should sit LA Tech out, if it'll help him heal. I wonder what he thinks about that, though. He strikes me as a man who likes to lead from the front.

Agree, I'd like to see him rest and heal for a game, at least. 2 games would be better, then see him play at full speed against Arky (I think we will NEED him), SECCG, and the game after that.

It looked to me like Glen was badgering the coaches to let him back in the game Saturday. If the trainers gave him the green light, it's tough to argue with him. I might play him a couple of series against Tech, but then if we can afford to keep him on the sidelines, keep him there.

If Glen doesn't go back in the game, we don't win, it's as simple as that. He disrupted every single play they ran. One of the most amazing games by a DT I've ever seen.

LSU needed him in the 2nd half. He wasn't full speed in the open and didn't chase plays down the field like we have been spoiled in seeing him do, but in terms of giving the OL fits, he did do that.
He needs to rest for Tech, play a little in the Ole Miss game, maybe....but he needs to be 100% for the Arky/McFadden game.
Dorsey, you are the man, you will be missed, and your commitment, attitude, pride, and passion will be sorely missed.
I don't know if I've ever seen a DT chase plays 15 yds down the field at full speed like him.

I couldn't agree more, lot of the top guys need to go in, play a quarter or two, and if they have a comfortable lead start letting the backups get some play time.
