"1 Ohio State (Purely because they are undefeated)" I have a problem with this point of view. The media is not questioning how good Ohio State is because of statements just like this. Three of those nine wins were against Akron, Youngstown State and Kent State. The highest ranked team that Ohio State has faced was Purdue which was ranked #23 at the time. I seem to recall that Florida beat the living CRAP out of Ohio State... Ohio State deserves to be #1 without question ??? :nope: :nope: :nope:
that's the most accurate statement I've seen regarding tOSU. Has beaten Youngstown St., Akron, Washington (3-6), Northwestern, Minnesota, Kent St., Mich St., and their best wins are against #23 Purdue (no quality wins), #25 Penn St. (beat Wisconsin and Purdue...wow) and #21 Wisconsin (no quality wins). seriously, check each teams schedule and you come away with a very un-impressive view of how tOSU got to be ranked #1. http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=194 it's shaping up to be just like last year.
someone who's seen them more please help me out. why is oregon all of a sudden a "media darling"? they just beat an arizona st team at home who until this week has played a schedule that rivals ohio st. btw even though their loss was on a questionable call, one might say that beat oklahoma in the same way last year (or was it the year before?) they have a few quality wins but how many top 25 teams have they played? if i'm not mistaken we've played 6 and beaten 5. all this "oregon should jump LSU" stuff is starting to pi$$ me off.:angryfire
Agreed on your final with W. Virginia over Kansas. Their O-line is just a band of freaks. I think the sleeper against Ohio might just be Illinois this weekend, only because it has been that kind of a season! I think your 1-10 is pretty dead on. (–Spell Check-) :thumb:
